Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, unload, and shelve goods and supplies from vendors accurately.
- Prepare, pack, and stage outgoing goods for delivery according to daily schedules and invoices.
- Conduct regular inventory counts (cycle counts and monthly stock takes) to ensure physical stock tallies with system records.
- Update and maintain accurate inventory records using the company’s Warehouse Management System (WMS) or Microsoft Excel.
- Maintain strict housekeeping standards to ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and safe (adhering to 5S methodology).
- Operate manual pallet jacks and/or forklifts to move materials safely within the facility.
- Report any damaged goods, discrepancies, or missing items to the warehouse supervisor immediately.
Requirements:
- Minimum SPM (Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia) or equivalent qualification.
- At least 1 to 2 years of proven working experience in a warehouse, logistics, or storekeeping environment.
- Possession of a valid forklift driving license or certificate is highly advantageous.
- Good physical stamina, as the role requires standing for extended periods and lifting heavy items.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory data entry.
- Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia; a basic understanding of English is an added advantage.
- Punctual, honest, and willing to work Overtime (OT) on weekends or public holidays during peak business periods.
